What: History Day Workshop When: Monday October 2nd, 2023, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Where: Shiloh Meeting Hall 121 W Huntsville Ave, Springdale 72764

Who: 6-12th grade Social Studies, GT, English, Drama, Literacy, and Technology teachers and school Librarians.

What: You will learn how your school can get involved in NHD and why it is not just for History classes. Learn how this program allows students to shine and build confidence through performances, papers, exhibits, websites, and documentaries. National History Day also meets Literacy frameworks and offers students the opportunity to strengthen their skills in research, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. You will learn about this year’s theme and collaborate with other teachers. There will also be a presentation on Shiloh Museum of Ozark History.

Up to 6 hours of Arkansas Professional Development credit will be available for attending the workshop.
