Funding
- Regional and State Contest Travel: If your school participates in the Arkansas Activities Association, you should be eligible for funding to support travel for your History Day team when students advance to the regional and state contest. Contact your district travel secretary or the AAA for information.
- Field Trip Funding: Teachers traveling with students to visit archives, museums, or special workshops for History Day are eligible for the Arkansas Humanities Council REACH grant. Applications are now completed through their online system. Here are the questions you will see once you are logged in. If you have any trouble with the application, they are very responsive to emails and phone calls.
- National Contest Travel: Students advanced to the National NHD Contest can apply for up to $600 in travel funding through the Arkansas Heritage National History Day Travel Grant Program
